Nadežda Siņenko

Chief Economist at the Financial Stability Analysis Division, Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy Department

Nadežda Siņenko holds a Doctor's degree in mathematics from the University of Latvia (1999). She obtained a Master's Degree in mathematics from the University of Latvia and graduated (with honours) from Riga Technical University (applied mathematics speciality) qualifying as an engineer–mathematician. In 1994 Nadežda Siņenko studied at the Institute of Technology, Linköping University, Sweden.

Since 2002, Nadežda Siņenko is an associate professor at the Chair of Mathematical Analysis of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Latvia. She has developed and delivered several courses under the professional study programme "Mathematician–Statistician".

In 2007 Nadežda Siņenko started her career at the Monetary Policy Department of Latvijas Banka. Her professional duties comprise improvement of the stress test methodology, credit risk modelling, financial stability research, and Credit Register data analysis.
