Dace Antuža holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Latvia and is also a graduate of the BA School of Business and Finance (former Latvia Banking College), the programme of Banking Operations.

Dace Antuža started her career at Latvijas Banka in 1997 as an analyst of the external economic environment at the Monetary Policy Department. Later her professional duties included a vast range of issues related to monetary and macroeconomic analysis. Dace Antuža is currently developing a framework for analysis of macro-prudential supervision in the area of financial stability.

Since January 2023 Dace Antuža is Head of the Macroprudential Policy Division of the Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy Department.
