Nicolas Gavoille is Principal Research Economist at Latvijas Banka and Associate Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

Nicolas holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rennes, France.

Nicolas’ main research interests are in the field of public economics, labor economics, and political economics. He is a board member of the European Public Choice Society and a former board member of the Baltic Economic Association.

He has published articles in journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, European Economic Review, European Journal of Political Economy and Journal of Comparative Economics.
