Valdis Grudulis joined the team of Latvijas Banka in 2024. He gained his professional experience in the financial sector, with a focus on financial analysis and forecasting.

Previously, Valdis worked as a financial economist at the development finance institution ALTUM. At the beginning of his career, he gained experience at the Latvian Guarantee Agency, where he was involved in the design and implementation of financial instruments to support entrepreneurship, as well as in the automation of accounting processes.

Valdis holds a Master's Degree in Economics (Finance and Credit) and a Bachelor's Degree in Management Science (Economic Informatics) from the University of Latvia.
