In 2021, Kristīne received a doctorate degree in economics and business from the University of Latvia. She began working at Latvijas Banka in 2019 as a senior economist in the Financial Stability Department. Her responsibilities include macroprudential analysis of the non-banking financial sector. Prior to joining Latvijas Banka, Kristīne worked at the Chancellery of the President of Latvia and Swedbank.
