Kārlis Liede started his career at the Macroeconomic Analysis Division of the Monetary Policy Department of Latvijas Banka in 2024. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. In 2024, he began his Master's studies at the University of Latvia, specialising in mathematical economics.
His professional duties include external demand analysis, assessment of the economic development of Latvia's trade partner countries, as well as analysis of Latvia's economic sectors.
