Margarita Koļuškina earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga in 2025. During her studies, she acquired an in-depth understanding of quantitative methods, statistics, and financial market analysis.

Margarita started her career as an economist at the Monetary Policy Analysis Division of the Monetary Policy Department of Latvijas Banka in 2024. Her main duties include developing and maintaining two financial market reports, which are available only to the bank's employees and provide an up-to-date analysis of market trends.

In her daily work, Margarita handles large data sets, automates data flows, and develops solutions that enable information updates and reduce manual work in preparing presentations.

Her professional interests are related to data engineering, the impact of financial market fluctuations on monetary policy, and the streamlining of work processes.
