Erlands Krongorns started his career at the Financial Market Analysis Division of the Monetary Policy Department at Banka of Latvia in 2017. Previously he worked as a fund analyst in an asset management company and as a business analyst in one of the largest retail chains in the Baltics.

Erlands Krongorns obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematical Economics from the University of Latvia in 2016. Before that he acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Analytical Economics from the University of Latvia and studied International Economics at MID Sweden University as an exchange student.
