Agnese Bičevska holds a Master's Degree (with honours) in Social Sciences (Management) from the University of Latvia. She delivered a course of lectures "System of National Accounts" for MA students at the BA School of Business and Finance from 2001 to 2004.

Agnese Bičevska started her career at the Bank of Latvia in 2001. Prior to her employment at the Bank of Latvia, Agnese Bičevska developed her skills in the calculation of macroeconomic indicators at the National Accounts Section of the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia. Her responsibilities include analysing Latvia's real sector and forecasting its developments (assessment of the use of GDP in particular).
